Boys Tennis Battles Against Martinsville Artesians

Senior Jared Kempf greets the Martinsville Artesians. He was able to serve the ball over the net by relaxing himself. “My strategy to help myself stay calm is to just take some deep breaths,” Cooper said. They discuss how the boys are playing and how they can help them. “Sometimes we discuss different strategies for each player to try and practice,” Banks said. It was a way to score how the guys played during their game. “I will calculate the numbers then give them percentages the next day. It helps them see how they performed number wise,” Bell said.
