Senior Liz Huffman hits a high V during a cheer. Alongside her teammates supporting Mooresville. Huffman was chose a co-captain this year. “We had tons of spirit, and our coach was so proud of us. Since it’s my senior year I want to make the best out of it. As captain I’m glad I can be someone to look up to,” Huffman said.

She’s been cheering at Mooresville for two years now. “We all had jitters and a lot of adrenaline. That led to us being just crazy out there. It was very bitter sweet because I was cheering my last first games,” Villanueva said
