Mills prepared for this lab by sitting through lectures taught by the department chair of science, Mrs. Kimberly Zook. “We were running a lab report on filtration and we were getting all of our data organized for our report,” Mills said.

Mooresville Time Travels Back to the Golden Age
The new Agriscience and Construction building sets the scene for a major breakthrough for the students and teachers inside this building. For the past year, educators struggled with finding ways to teach these hands-on labs and activities in normal classrooms, especially Advanced Plant and Soil Science teacher Mr. Jeffery Voris. “Were already able to grow more efficiently than we ever have. Even in the first month, we’ve grown over 1,000 plants,” Voris said.
