With April beginning, prom is just around the corner and excitement is ramping up. Students are buying tuxedos and dresses. They are starting to solidify their dinner plans and getting excited for the dance. All need-to-know information is listed down below as a guide for students all in one place.
Prom Information

- Mooresville High School Junior and Senior Prom
- Theme is “A Night in Central Park”
When?
- Saturday, April 26
- 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Who?
- All juniors and seniors
- Underclassmen can be invited as a date but must stay with their date
- Guests out of high school who are under 21 can be invited
- Must have an approved form and be in good academic standing
- Guest forms are available in the front office and due by April 18
- Must have an approved form and be in good academic standing
Where?
Post-Prom Information
How much?
- A ticket to just post-prom costs $10
Where?
- Mooresville High School South Gym
When?
- 11:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.
What?
- Post-prom is an event held by junior parents that immediately follow prom. It is full of games and food for prom attendees to have a good time.
- The theme is kept a secret until the actual event
Ticket Information
How much?
- A ticket is $60 and includes both prom and post-prom
When?
- Tickets are on-sale April 1 to April 21
- They are sold before lunch in the book-store and during both lunches
