The new Agriscience and Construction building sets the scene for a major breakthrough for the students and teachers inside this building. For the past year, educators struggled with finding ways to teach these hands-on labs and activities in normal classrooms, especially Advanced Plant and Soil Science teacher Mr. Jeffery Voris. “Were already able to grow more efficiently than we ever have. Even in the first month, we’ve grown over 1,000 plants,” Voris said.

Since it's my senior year I want to make the best out of it. As captain I'm glad I can be someone to look up to," Huffman said.

Sophomore Kaitlyn Hadley gets herself ready to watch the ball. She was super prepared for this year. “It’s important to focus during a game because it is a group effort and we can’t mess around,” Hadley said.

Coach Molly Armstrong watches her team play. She’s a big encouragement for the girls. “She will just stand there and watch us,” sophomore Karsyn Crane-Stringer said.

Junior Alibell Coughlan gets herself ready to serve the ball over the net. This is her first year on the C-Team. “It really helps to not think about it,” Coughlan said.

Coach Molly Armstrong talks to her team before the game. They don’t think about if they are going to win or lose. “She’s very encouraging and gets us hyped up before a game,” sophomore Karsyn Crane-Stringer said.

The girls huddle up before their game starts. They played against Bloomington south. “We talk about what we need to work on and it is not a win or a loss,” freshman Caroline Curran said.

The team celebrates after scoring. Huddling is a way to make sure everyone is okay. “It makes us excited when we score a point,” freshman Kennidy Wilson said.

Freshman Maddisyn Swails spikes the ball over the net. Her spike scored their team a point. “It’s important to not think about it,” Swails said.

Freshman Ella Bey preps as the other team serves the ball. She is very excited for this year. “Not getting into my head helps me a lot,” Bey said.
