This year for Winter Homecoming, Student Council Advisor Michelle Lynn and Student Council are planning on switching things around for the whole event. After the Homecoming basketball game, the dance will be a little different this year.
“It’s going to be a Winter Homecoming After Party, so not a formal event. There will be music, so you can dance if you choose to, but we are going to add some games, snacks, and a Winter backdrop with some props. So there are a bunch of fun things to do similar to a Winter Homecoming Dance, just after the basketball games instead. It’s more casual, so come as you are. It will be held in the cafeteria area mostly,” Lynn said.
Senior Abby Miller is Student Council President and had some details about the after party.
“The juniors came up with the idea. We expect more people to show up than last year because it’s more casual,” Miller said.
Lynn and all of student council worked really hard to get everything set up for the After Party Winter Homecoming. Student Council Treasurer Eli Phillips is a senior and he had some good things to say about the whole event.
“It was all the work we did throughout the year so it will be good to get together for one last time for the seniors,” Phillips said.
