Pioneers vs. Hawks, a look at the 2023 Homecoming Game
Junior Addison Gardner (#11) comes together with her team during a point to celebrate the team's success. Gardner scored for the JV Pioneers multiple times throughout the tough game. "I am glad I have the position that I do to help this team grow," Gardner said.

The team comes together in a huddle just before the game starts. The team went on to end the game in a tie of three to three.

Cross Country Runs in Relay
Sophomore Abraham Lopez ìs QB1 for the game against Franklin Community High School. Shortly after the photo was taken, Lopez threw around a 20 to 25 yard pass for a touchdown. "I was receiving the ball to make a pass in the endzone for a touchdown," Lopez said.
Unified Flag Football Defeats Franklin Community
Senior Liz Huffman hits a high V during a cheer. Alongside her teammates supporting Mooresville. Huffman was chose a co-captain this year. "We had tons of spirit, and our coach was so proud of us. Since it's my senior year I want to make the best out of it. As captain I'm glad I can be someone to look up to," Huffman said.

Band students are practicing their routine in the hot afternoon sun. These students spent hours perfecting their performance. “Marching band is really tiring but really fun,” said junior Masyn Boicourt.

With homecoming quickly approaching, Mooresville students are showing their school spirit by participating in this year’s themed days leading up to the infamous game and dance.

This weeks themes are as follows:

Monday: College and Careers Day

Tuesday: Twin Day

Wednesday: Decade’s Day (’80s, ’90s, Y2K)

Thursday: Hawaiian Day

Friday: Blue and Gold Day
