Sophomore Abraham Lopez ìs QB1 for the game against Franklin Community High School. Shortly after the photo was taken, Lopez threw around a 20 to 25 yard pass for a touchdown. "I was receiving the ball to make a pass in the endzone for a touchdown," Lopez said.

The Mooresville Varsity Volleyball team gets ready for its last face off against Herron High School. At this point, the Pioneers were tied with Herron in matches. “I am the number one defender, I was nervous for our first real match,” senior Izzy Vanover said.

Senior Liz Huffman hits a high V during a cheer. Alongside her teammates supporting Mooresville. Huffman was chose a co-captain this year. "We had tons of spirit, and our coach was so proud of us. Since it's my senior year I want to make the best out of it. As captain I'm glad I can be someone to look up to," Huffman said.

Band students are practicing their routine in the hot afternoon sun. These students spent hours perfecting their performance. “Marching band is really tiring but really fun,” said junior Masyn Boicourt.

Sophomore Hendrix Mitchell (#14) blocking the Martinsville player from attempting to kick a goal on the Pioneer’s side. The Artesian was close to scoring when Mitchell interfered. “The Martinsville player was starting to get aggressive and I stepped in to block the goal for the goalie,” Mitchell said.
