Though not an official club of Mooresville high school, campus life has gained some significant popularity throughout the year. This club happens before school on Wednesday mornings. There are games, a lesson, and small group discussions. The small group leaders have a few questions that they ask the kids that are in their group. It gives the kids a chance to give their opinion on certain topics. This is a faith based club that gives kids a chance to meet other Christian students. Many of the students even love the leaders that participate every week.
“We have some great leaders. I love that they each have a great heart for everyone in the group and want to help the generations to come stay close to Jesus,” senior DJ Enkhorn said.
Campus life is not just for high school, though. It is also run at the middle school on Thursday mornings. Some of the high school students who participate at the high school, go to be a leader at the middle school. Students, such as junior Tatum Humphrey, are one of those students.
“I love it because the middle school students have some people closer to their age to look up to, and we get to help them grow in their relationship with Jesus,” Humphrey said.
Campus life’s environment is very open and welcoming to anyone who wants to participate. The leaders show lots of love and compassion to all the students who participate and want the best for all of them in their walk with Christ.
